Sensorium
Vertigo: inclines to turn to left; on rising, as if he would fall forward; on closing eyes.
Inner Head
Dull frontal headache; and throbbing, extending to eyeballs, worse mental exertion, better moving about.
Frontal headache, occasional vertigo, incapacitates for study; with profuse and frequent urination.
Dull, heavy headache, mostly over eyes, worse on left side, at times extending to vertex and occiput, principally when delayed menses should appear; worse sudden jar, bending over, false step, movement.
Severe pain in left parietal region, sharp, penetrating brain, worse every cough, moving head, when bowels move.
Eyes
Heaviness over eyes and in balls, must, at times, look twice to be sure of seeing an object.
Eyes burn; profuse flow of tears.
Sore feeling in eyeballs.
Ears
Sharp, jerking pains as from knife.
Wakens at night with pain in ears, deep in bone.
External ear sore as if bruised; cannot lie on it; must rub ear, it feels as if pinned to head.
Face
Flushed and hot.
Tongue etc.
Dry; broad and white, centre brown, takes print of teeth.
Taste: coppery; disagreeable.
Mouth
Lips and mouth dry.
nausea and Vomiting Constant nausea; also relieved while eating; followed by vomiting.
Deathly sick at stomach as if could not live, every night; worse least motion.
Stomach
Food lies heavily.
Stomach felt faint and nauseated, must lie down (for ten days after menses cease).
Goneness as if empty.
Aching, better stretching body and throwing stomach forward.
Hypochondria
Spleen : darting pain deep-seated; feels as if hot fluid was running through splenic vessels, better walking about room.
Intense pain in splenic region, faintness, better by sweat.
Severe throbbing pain under left floating ribs, better from hard pressure and walking; cannot lie on left side.
Abdomen
Tender and sensitive, worse about umbilicus.
Cramping colicky pains in lower abdomen, almost insupportable, coming suddenly and with terrible severity.
Stool etc.
Constipation : stools of large, dry, hard balls; voided with such difficulty as to need mechanical aid; much tenesmus; or, inactive rectum.
Dark blood after stool.
Diarrhoea profuse, watery, with chills, and at same time, cold sweat that rolls off of forehead.
Urine
Urine : clear, profuse, frequent; sensation after micturition as if urine was still flowing, during menses and also with headache.
Male Sexual Organs
Seminal emissions without dreams.
Female Sexual Organs
Before menses : severe bearing down, drawing in anterior muscles of thighs; heavy aching in sacral region and over pubes; occasional sharp, shooting pains over ovaries; pains make her so nervous she cannot sit still; excruciating, cramping, colicky pains in lower abdomen, and through womb; pains begin in the back and go around, ending in cramps in uterus.
During menses : nausea; cramping pain and great nervous restlessness; flow ceases for several hours, then returns in clots. Flow scanty, thin, light colored, with sensation of lightness of head, faint when trying to sit up. Spasmodic or membranous dysmenorrhoea.
Leucorrhoea thin-yellow, white or colorless, except with the stool, when it is thick, white, blood streaked.
Pregnancy
Threatened abortion; intense cramp in uterus and bearing down; or, pain around from back, ending in excruciating cramp in lower abdomen (many cases).
Neck Back
Neck stiff, with pain in occiput.
Tired, bruised pain in muscles of back, from point of scapula to wing of ilium on each side, better from firm pressure.
Limbs in General
Buzzing feeling in hands, as if they would burst.

Viburnum, in a threatened abortion, relieved; but renewed symptoms differing only in the appearing of an irritable, peevish state of mind, required Chamom., which cured.
