Chronic bronchitis ; patient nearly in a dying condition.
Bronchorrhoea.
COUGH.
Obstinate old coughs with profuse muco-purulent expectoration ; gagging or vomiting during cough, < while or immediately after eating ; expectoration most profuse in morning ; pain in left side (lower lung) not < by lying in any position, but painful while coughing and sensitive to percussion.
After typhus, progressive emaciation with severe cough, sometimes dry and again with scanty expectoration ; profuse sweats day and night ; eyes and cheeks sunken ; nose pointed and whitish.
INNER CHEST AND LUNGS.
Copious sputa, emaciation, night sweat.
TIME.
Morning : expectoration most profuse.
Day and night : profuse sweats.
LOCALITY AND DIRECTION.
Left : pain in side (lower lung).
SENSATIONS.
Pain in left side (lower lung).
STAGE OF LIFE, CONSTITUTION.
