CORYZA.

Severe, dry coryza, all day; with pain in back, especially while sitting.

FLUENT CORYZA-

Fluent coryza, with crawling in nose and frequent sneezing.

Fluent, alternating with dry, especially in the evening., Fluent coryza, with tickling and sneezing, soreness in nostrils high up, and rawness of throat.

DISCHARGES-

Throat dry; nose dry.

Fluent and dry alternately.

Much mucus collects in posterior nares and throat.

SENSATIONS-

Soreness in nostrils.

Rawness of throat.

Hoarseness and burning in chest.

Weight and pressure at root of the nose; sometimes very severe.

COUGH.

Sub-acute or chronic cough.

DRY COUGH-

Dry cough, with burning and sore pains in chest, always before and during menses; bloody sputa.

Spasmodic cough, as if the chest would fly to pieces.

Hacking but seldom; with much mucus in throat, rawness in throat; worse at night.

Dry, hacking cough, without pain.

LOOSE COUGH-

Loose, short, frequent cough; easy frothy mucus; worse at night, and lying down; compelling him to sit up all night.

Very exhausting cough.

Constant cough; from tickling in upper third of chest on both sides; preventing sleep; with loss of flesh; better from raising a little bit of mucus (Apis); after expectoration, feeling as if cold and hollow in chest. (Chronic cough).

Severe loose cough, spasmodic; from tickling in larynx and trachea, and far down in chest; dry at night, loose morning and by day; very spasmodic; children grasp genitalia while coughing.

SPUTA-

None at night; only in morning, and during the day; or,

Abundant, frothy at night.

Thick, difficult, exhausting, yellow, purulent, blood-streaked.

Milk while.

Tasting, sweetish, metallic, repulsive, or putrid, like old catarrh.

Abundant, easy, frothy mucus; cannot lie down for coughing.

WORSE-

From eating.

From drinking milk, sweets, liquors.

At night, when cough is dry.

Morning and evening, bloody sputa.

Lying down, or reclining, brings on an incessant cough.

SENSATIONS-

Rawness and dryness in throat and larynx, compelling to hawk, and clear the throat frequently; soreness felt more when at rest, than when swallowing.

Eruptions on tonsils and in throat.

Acute tickling in larynx, trachea and chest.

Tightness across chest, as if constricted by a band.

Cold, hollow feeling in chest, following expectoration of difficult mucus.

Spasmodic cough, as if chest would fly to pieces.

Burning and sore pains in chest before menses, with bloody sputa.

Easy, painless cough, dry or loose.
