DRY CORYZA-
Offensive smell before the nose, as of manure, or smoke.
Nose very dry internally.
Frequent sneezing: no appetite.
COUGH.
DRY COUGH-
Acute coughs; high fever: also,
Chronic coughs; hectic fever.
Dry cough, from tickling low down in trachea.
Exceedingly spasmodic, dry cough; giving no rest night or day; shaking and straining body; with pain in head, chest and abdomen, from shaking efforts; anxious and restless, followed by great exhaustion and cold sweat on forehead.
Dry, tickling cough; after walking in sharp, cold air.
SCANTY COUGH-
Dry, rattling, spasmodic cough; but nothing loosens, or comes up; blueness of surface.
Deep, hollow, ringing cough, from lowest part of chest; sputa, tough, tenacious mucus; yellow, salty, bitter, sour, or putrid tasting.
Ineffectual cough; cannot expectorate.
Chronic bronchitis of the aged.
Hollow, spasmodic cough; with blueness of face, cutting pains in abdomen, and involuntary urine.
Tickling, spasmodic cough; with constriction of throat, nausea, vomiting of food and mucus.
SPUTA-
None, cough dry: or, Tough and very difficult.
Tenacious, salty, sour or bitter, or bad, putrid tasting.
WORSE-
Entering warm room: getting warm in bed.
From cold drink; especially from cold water, which is often craved: or, food.
Morning, and evening until 12 P.M.
BETTER-
Ceases on lying down; begins as soon as he rises.
RESPIRATION-
Dyspnea, waking from sleep; with harsh, crowing inspiration.
Delayed expiration and spasm of glottis.
SPECIAL-
Croupous pneumonia.
Edema of lungs.
Bronchitis of the aged.
SENSATIONS-
Cutting pains in abdomen, with violent cough and difficult sputa.
