CORYZA.

DRY CORYZA.

Painfully dry coryza (acute, 1st stage); excessive dryness of nares and throat; palate feels like dried leather.

SECRETIONS-

Mucus dries so rapidly it can not be discharged; but forms scabby secretions; breathing obstructed; clergyman’s sore throat.

COUGH.

DRY COUGH-

Dry, racking cough; incessant, exhausting. (Consumption.)

Dry cough at night; loose in the morning; less free by day.

Dry, hard, racking cough, from tickling in larynx and bronchi; it begins in larynx and finally extends to lungs.

WORSE-

From every inspiration.

At night; when it is almost incessant.

Night and morning, diarrhoea also.

Cannot lie down; splitting frontal headache.

BETTER-

In morning, when it becomes loose.

CHEST-

Pain through chest from sternum to spine; arms powerless from extreme pain; worse, breathing.

SENSATIONS-

Excessive dryness of nose and throat (1st stage).
