CORYZA.
FLUENT CORYZA-
Fluent coryza; much sneezing and lachrymation; one nostril stopped; nasal voice.
DISCHARGES-
At first, thick mucus; afterward, thin water.
COUGH.
CROUPY, CHRONIC COUGH-
Spasmodic, hollow, difficult cough; sputa often swallowed on account of difficulty in raising it; dry by day, loose at night.
Croupy, chronic cough in winter, alternating with sciatica in summer; drove him out of bed; must sit up all night; could not breathe, lying down.
SPUTA-
Tough, yellow, purulent; mostly at night, or only by day.
Alternately dry and loose.
WORSE-
Lying down, croupy cough worse: must get out of bed; cannot breathe, lying.
From tobacco smoke.
From brushing teeth (Calcarea carb.).
After vexation, or indignation, or anger.
After eating meat.
From talking, rawness in larynx.
BETTER-
Sitting up.
RESPIRATION-
Dyspnea with sexual debility.
SENSATION-
As of something loose at pit of stomach, like loose flesh, that pulls with every cough.
Rawness in larynx from talking.
Soreness and rawness in chest while COUGHing.
Throat rough and dry; soreness when talking or swallowing.
Voice feeble; weakness of vocal cords after anger.
