CORYZA.
FLUENT CORYZA-
Tickling and itching in the nose, and on the nose; flow of water from the nose.
Fluent, abundant coryza; causing coughing and suffocating fits as soon as patient lies down; the eyes water; heat, with no thirst; anxiety about the heart.
Much dropping down in throat, especially at night; copious, offensive to smell and taste.
DRY COUGH-
Dry coryza; dry eat; headache; no thirst; eyes water; hoarse.
front on nose dry and stopped; but much discharge from posterior nares.
DISCHARGES-
Mucus in abundance, from posterior nares; smells and tastes badly, sometimes.
Flow of water from anterior nostrils.
WORSE-
Lying down, discharge from the throat; also, cough and breathing worse.
SENSATIONS-
Tickling and itching in and on nose.
On the nose, sensation of wind blowing across the nose.
COUGH.
DRY COUGH-
Dry, violent, hollow cough, from irritation in trachea; especially at night.
Catarrhal cough; acute; hot skin; no thirst or sweat.
SPUTA-
None; discharge only from posterior nares.
SENSATIONS-
Suffocation with cough, as from water flowing into wind-pipe.
Dyspnea worse from bending forward.
Stitches in chest or heart from coughing.
Stitches down left arm; worse from least movement; or when breathing (angina pectoris).
