CORYZA.
DRY, BLOODY CORYZA –
Excessive dryness of nose.
Frequent and very profuse nosebleed; every attack preceded by great congestion of head and face.
COUGH.
DRY COUGH –
Very distressing, harsh, dry cough, with much anxiety; nose- bleed every few minutes; better by slight expectoration, and from nosebleed.
Constant, severe, racking, dry cough and very rapid breathing; both lungs greatly congested; face and eyes very red, nose-bleed every few minutes; sputa, none or of bright red blood (pneumonia); high fever; severe headache, almost delirious; head much confused; carotid throbbing; better from nosebleed; some relief, also, from slight expectoration.
SPUTA –
None, or very scanty.
BETTER –
From raising the least amount.
Nosebleed, which is very profuse, relieves congestion of head and face; confused and anxious.
RESPIRATION –
Very rapid breathing; could not get air enough; felt as if smothering.
Chest very sore and oppressed, as it garments were too tight.
(Pneumonia.).
ATTACKS –
Every attack of nosebleed preceded by intense redness and congestion of head and face; confused and anxious; severe headache.
SENSATIONS –
As if smothering; could not get air enough.
As if garments were too tight; chest very sore and oppressed.
Severe headache, almost delirious.
Head much confused.
