COUGH.
ASTHMATIC COUGH –
Slight, catarrhal cough; no appetite, tongue dry, great weakness; small, rapid, intermittent pulse.
Asthmatic breathing worse from eating least food.
Spasmodic, loose cough : frothy mucous sputa, in masses.
Dyspnea, lassitude and prostration; livid countenance.
SPUTA –
Scanty, catarrhal : or, Frothy mucus is masses.
LARYNX AND VOICE –
Hoarseness from over-exertion of voice: recent paralysis of vocal cords.
PULSE –
Weak, quick, irregular.
SPECIAL –
Morbidly sensitive, nervous, and depressed subjects, with asthmatic tendencies.
Asthma, worse from eating.
SENSATIONS –
Great lassitude and prostration.
