CORYZA.
FLUENT CORYZA-
Severe, acute, fluent coryza.
Profuse running of nose and eyes.
Violent sneezing, frequent cough; nose red, very tender and sore; burning of eyes, nose (inside), throat and palate.
Face red, eyelids swollen.
Chronic coryza; throat sore; raw pain in larynx.
DISCHARGES-
Watery, colorless, acrid.
Fluent. watery, acrid (acute).
Yellow, greenish, or greenish-black; very offensive.
Very tenacious and abundant mucus in nostrils (chronic).
SENSATIONS-
Throbbing frontal headache, compression of temples, or head feels big.
Throat red, swollen, or edematous.
Alternately hot and chilly; or, high fever.
SPECIAL-
Tightness at root of nose; inflammation of any, or all the sinuses of face.
Patient excited and very restless.
COUGH.
DRY COUGH-
With sensation of dryness, tickling, and burning in the larynx.
Hacking, dry cough; later, copious green sputum.
Hoarse cough, with pain (soreness) in chest.
Deep, hollow, dry cough, with tearing pain from deep behind sternum; whitish and greenish sputa.
SPUTA-
None, cough dry; with soreness and burning, in larynx or chest.
LOOSE COUGH-
Thin, greenish or whitish, following dry cough.
Copious, whitish, non-purulent sputa, with marked difficulty of breathing from obstruction in larynx and trachea.
WORSE-
Morning and evening.
