CORYZA.

FLUENT CORYZA-

With stuffed, smarting feeling in posterior nares; discharge of then, clear mucus (acute).

With thin, excoriating discharge; lachrymation.

Rawness in throat and chest; scanty, indoors; profuse, out (acute.)

Discharge of thick, white or yellow, stringy, tough mucus, with frequent dropping in throat, of thick mucus, (sub-acute).

Chronic, profuse, tenacious, thick, yellow or purulent mucus from nasal passages (chronic).

DISCHARGES-

Fluent, clear mucus and tears with rawness (in first stage).

Thick, white or yellow, abundant, tenacious mucus (in second stage)

Profuse, yellow, thick, tenacious (in third stage).

Purulent, profuse, sometimes bloody (chronic stage).

SENSATIONS-

Air feels cold in nose (AEsc., Cimic., Cor. rub.).

Stuffed, smarting, excoriated, raw feeling in posterior nares; discharge clear and thin; constantly blowing nose.

Raw, sore feeling, with hoarseness; discharge, thick, tingling in throat.

Soreness of stomach.

Rawness, soreness and burning in chest.

COUGH.

DRY COUGH-

Dry, harsh cough, form tickling in the larynx.

Chronic, rough, harsh, rattling cough day and night, with marked debility; thick, profuse sputa.

Chronic cough; profuse sputa, purulent, thick, yellow; excessive prostration, febrile paroxysms evening and night; sensible catarrh.

SPUTA-

Profuse, thick, stringy, tough, white, yellow, purulent, or occasionally purulent-bloody.

Thick, yellow, tenacious, stringy.

WORSE-

Coryza less indoors; worse out.

Cough, day and night.

Fever, evening and night.

From soreness at pit of stomach; in debility, and chronic cough.

SENSATIONS-

Scraping and rawness in larynx.

Tingling and smarting in throat.

Rawness, soreness, and burning in chest.

FEVER-

Febrile paroxysms, evening and night, in chronic cough.

SPECIAL-

Debility and senile catarrh.
