CORYZA.

DRY CORYZA-

Smell diminished; frequently rubs nose.

Nostrils sooty, as if smoked.

Water rattles down the throat (see Cuprum met. and Cina).

SPECIAL-

Inclined to dullness and stupor.

COUGH.

DRY COUGH-

Dry cough with gagging; worse at night.

Constant, dry, hacking cough, from smoking.

SPUTA-

None, cough dry.

RESPIRATION-

Difficult, as if the ribs would not expand.

Labored towards evening; must sit up, and breathe slowly and very deeply.

WORSE-

In evening; lying down; walking in the open air (breathing worse): smoking (cough worse).

BETTER-

Sitting up, and breathing slowly and deeply.

SENSATIONS-

Chest seems constricted because ribs will not expand.

Shifting pains in chest.

SPECIAL-

Maltreated pneumonia, with moderate fever.

Breathing very difficult; must sit up.
