CORYZA.
FLUENT CORYZA–
Fluent eyes and nose; face flushed.
Fluent coryza, sneezing and hoarseness: aching in all the bones throat sore.
Much prostration: surface pale and and morbidly sensitive.
DISCHARGES–
Fluent, throat sore, bones ache: Smell of food, or odors from cooking, causes stomach to turn.
Throat dry and sore; voice hoarse, can hardly talk; Worse morning on rising.
COUGH.
DRY COUGH–
Pain and soreness behind sternum when coughing.
Hoarse, dry, rough, cough, with scraping in bronchi, heat and soreness in chest; must support chest with hands when coughing (Bryonia).
Fatiguing, dry cough, with the heat of intermittent.
Loose cough, with apyrexia.
Soreness in chest; supports chest with hands when coughing.
With scanty sputa; head hurts when blowing the nose or coughing.
Hacking cough in evening.
SPUTA–
None, or very scanty mucus.
WORSE–
Inspiring.
2 to 4 a.m.
Lying on back.
Hoarseness worse in morning after rising.
Chilly, from drinking cold water.
BETTER–
Lying with head high; breathing better.
CHEST AND INSPIRATION–
Soreness of chest with respirations.
Great oppression of the chest; a full breath hurts: hacking cough in evening.
Difficult breathing, with perspiration and anxious countenance. chest hurts from soreness and grating when breathing deeply.
Great dyspnea, obliging to lie with head and shoulders high.
SPECIAL–
Cough with fluent coryza.
Fever, and bones ache.
