DRY COUGH–

Loud, incessant, ringing cough, worse lying down at night.

With wheezing and dyspnea.

LOOSE COUGH–

Slight, loose cough, easy mucous expectoration.

With taste of blood in mouth (Rhus tox.).

SPUTA–

None; cough, loud, ringing.

Difficult sputa, with wheezing cough.

Easy sputa, abundant, with taste of blood in mouth.
