COUGH.

DRY COUGH–

Obstinate cough, with feeling of suffocation.

Worse at night, compelling her to jump out of bed and walk around; must lie with head high, or partly sitting up.

WORSE–

At night : in bed; or lying with head low; must sleep in a chair on account of cough.

BETTER–

Walking about.

Lying with head high; or, sitting up in a chair.

SENSATIONS–

Flesh of chest painful to touch.

Feeling as though lungs would not expand.

Feeling of suffocation, compelling him to jump out of bed and sleep in a chair.

Of hollowness in chest, as if everything were hanging down.
