Extreme sensitiveness and irritability.

CORYZA.

FLUENT CORYZA–

Nose stopped at the back, by abundant thick mucus, white, or clear like the white of an egg. (Clinical.)

CHRONIC CORYZA–

Catarrh, with sanguinolent discharge, not offensive (Chronic catarrh.)

DISCHARGES– Thick mucus, white or clear.

Sanguinolent mucus.

COUGH.

DRY COUGH–

Irritating, spasmodic cough as from salt or pepper in the throat, or from a dry spot in the throat.

LOOSE COUGH–

Loose cough, from abundant, thick and difficult mucus in throat and trachea : throat feels scraped, constricted; larynx sensitive. (Clinical; fresh cases of influenza.)

Spasmodic cough, with cardiac weakness, and great debility; with pallor or blueness of face, the color returns slowly; tendency to hemorrhagic spots.

Difficult and scanty; or, Thick, abundant and difficult.

Frothy, stringy, bloody mucus.

SPECIAL–

Acute influenza. (Clinical.) Whooping cough.

RESPIRATION–

Anxious oppressed breathing, from constriction of throat.

Excessive oppression of chest in old people, in hydrothorax, malarial fever or septic fever.

SENSATIONS–

As of salt or pepper in throat.

Dry spot in throat; very spasmodic cough.
