CORYZA.
At first, dry, then fluent coryza, With much sneezing.
Influenza, with pleuritic or neuralgic pains.
DISCHARGES –
Fluent, clear.
COUGH.
DRY COUGH – Hoarse, croupy cough, tightness of breathing.
Fever, hot but moist skin.
Difficult, harsh, hard cough, with constriction of throat; the cough causes pain in the forehead and abdomen, and especially stitches in the chest.
Caused by irritation in larynx and bronchi.
Hard cough, worse n. and m.
Scanty spasmodic, hacking cough, With scanty, difficult sputa.
With constriction of throat.
SPUTA –
Scanty, or none; difficult.
WORSE –
Evening and night; especially at 4 A.M.; worse breathing.
From drawing long breath, and from motion, pains in chest.
From singing or loud speaking, pains in chest.
Worse inspiration, moving arms, stooping forward, or lying on left side; pain in region of left nipple.
CHEST AND RESPIRATION –
Sharp cutting pains in chest-worse from breathing and cough.
Acute pleuritic pain in right side, with hacking dry cough.
Sharp stitches, during respiration; especially at base of left lung; also right lung.
Want of breath, like asthma, often very great, particularly after eating, or after smoking.
DISEASES –
Pleurisy and pleurodynia.
SENSATIONS –
Sharp, cutting pains in chest.
