CORYZA.
Itching and burning in the eyes. Sneezing, itching, and dryness of mucous membrane of nose.
Burning and itching in throat.
Throat feels painful on swallowing; feels obstructed.
Pain at root of nose; loss of smell.
Fluent coryza following dryness.
Sneezing with chronic coryza; and Expulsion of indurated pieces of greenish mucus.
DISCHARGES –
None, at onset; sneezing dry.
Then, fluent and watery.
Later on, white, slimy masses; or,
Green thick mucus.
Green, indurated lumps of mucus.
COUGH.
DRY COUGH –
Evenings, with pain at pit of stomach.
With viscid vomiting.
After coughing, larynx obstructed, finally Causing gagging and vomiting.
SPUTA –
Alternately white and bluish, thick, in the beginning.
Later, ash-colored clots.
Accumulation of mucus in bronchi.
Causes anxiety; very thick.
WORSE –
Noon, evening, cough.
Difficult raising, early morning.
SENSATIONS –
Kind of spasmodic obstruction to cough, in the larynx, Which prevents the wind and sputum coming up.
Finally causes frothy viscid vomiting, followed by burning at pit of throat.
Burning in hypogastrium, after cough.
Bruised feeling at the pit of stomach.
Burning, itching, and soreness in throat : of the eyes :.
SPECIAL –
Burning accompanies nearly all complaints.
