CORYZA.

Violent irritation of the nasal membrane; resembling a severe attack of coryza (acute).

Lips dry.

Unpleasant heat in fauces.

DISCHARGES –

Nostrils and throat filled with thick, yellow mucus, on waking in morning; unpleasant degree of heat.

COUGH.

DRY COUGH –

With scanty expectoration.

Incessant, hacking, suffocating cough (with hydrothorax).

Loose rattling with oppressed breathing.

Violent attacks of hoarse cough at night, with vomiting.

SPUTA –

Of scant, white, difficult mucus.

WORSE –

At night.

Lying down; agonizing difficulty in breathing; cannot lie down.

PULSE –

Small, weak.

Irregular.

RESPIRATION –

Difficult, oppressed: must sit up. (Hydrothorax,. Hydropericardium, Dropsy, Valvular troubles.).

DISEASES –

Hydrothorax.

Anasarca.
