ASTHMA SYMPOSIUM COMPARISON OF THE METHODS OF PRACTICE

It seems to me, unless you get a definite history of eczema that has been suppressed, it is almost universally of sycotic origin.

DR. BOND: I might say that I have had no experience with Dulcamara, but that is just an additional tip. I shall be on the look-out for it. All of that emphasizes the importance of taking a very careful history on the patient, being very observant of the things that take place in the sick room. Notice the position he gets into for relief. That is very important. Also the time of night; whether he is worse before midnight or after midnight is important; whether he is chilly or whether he is hot; whether he is thirsty or thirstless. All those things will help you differentiate a close case between your various polychrests.

If you give a remedy and it doesnt act and you wait what you feel is a sufficient time, I believe it is necessary to retake your case again, give it another study, and I believe if you get the remedy you can conquer of your cases.
