Essential Symptoms – 1



Useful in acnes, chilblains, cholera, cough, cramp, delirium, typhoid, epilepsy (with great exertion of strength). Sebaceous tumours, effects of sexual excesses. Delirium (makes verses and prophesy, kisses companions). Impotence (sexual appetite marked but penis relaxed).

AGARICUS PHALLOIDES

Indications

(1) Asiatic cholera, extreme prostration, chilliness; cold sweat, hippocratic face; cold tongue; violent thirst, frequent bilious vomiting; incessant cramps in stomach. Hard tense abdomen; frequent whitish watery stools or bilions, bloody stools, urine suppressed; voice hoarse; pulse hardly perceptible. Cold extremities; cramps in legs, feet and calves; convulsions. Vertigo on rising up, respirations short.

AGAVE AMERICANA

Indications

(1) Painful erections in gonorrhoea; strangury.

(2) Gums swollen and bleeding

AGNUS CASTUS

Indications

(1) Great sadness with fixed idea of approaching death, keeps repeating that she will soon die (after confinement in women and when milk fails to appear).

(2) Premature old age from sexual abuse of sexual power; history of repeated gonorrhoeas.

(3) Impotence (Male) parts cold, relaxed, desire gone, no erections; scanty emission without ejaculation; sexual melancholy; fear of death.

(4) Deep fissures in anus. Itching in eyes.

(5) Spasms and strains.

(6) Toothache, worse warm food or drink.

(7) Sterility in women, suppressed menses; want of sexual desire. MIlk scanty or absent. Retained placenta.

AGRAPHIS NUTANS

Indications

(1) Enlarged tonsils and adenoids; catarrhal conditions; obstruction of nostrils; throat deafness; better from shelter.

AILANTHUS GLANDULOSA

Indications

(1) Prostration at the onset of a disease; livid or purpled appearance of skin; low adynamic forms of disease; patient stupid, dull, delirious, weak.

(2) Diphtheria, extreme prostration, throat livid, almost purple, swollen, tonsils studded with deep angry looking ulcers, oozing a scanty fetid discharge; external neck swollen and sensitive.

(3) Tympanitis, thin, watery, offensive diarrhoea, passing involuntarily with urine: stools frequent, watery, forcibly expelled; urine scanty or suppressed.

(4) Malignant puerperal fever, purplish skin.

(5) Large blisters filled with dark serum.

(6) Dysentery, very great weakness. Haemorrhagic diathesis; teeth covered with sordes.

(7) Parotid gland sensitive and enlarged.

(8) Copious, thin, ichorous and bloody discharge from nose.

(9) Countenance indicative of much distress, face purple.

ALETRIS FARINOSA

Indications

(1) Habitual tendency to abortions; tired all the time, anaemic condition; prolapsus; leucorrhoea; weariness of body and mind, no appetite, least food distends abdomen: fainting and vertigo; emaciation; constipation.

(2) Obstinate vomiting of pregnancy.

(3) Premature and profuse menses with labor-like pains.

(4) Sterility; leucorrhoea with debility; prolapse of uterus with weight in uterine region and pain in right inguinal region; frothy saliva from mouth.

(5) Incontinence of urine, worse walking fast, sneezing; phosphatic urine.

ALFALFA

Indications

(1) Increases quality and quantity of milk in nursing mothers.

(2) Diabetes insipidus and phosphaturia.

(3) Chronic appendicitis, craving for sweets.

(4) Malnutrition.
