BIRTH PREDICTION

American Scientists declare that they are now able to prophesy the birth of a male or female baby yet in the womb of its mother by an examination of her saliva from mouth. They have not stated the name of the chemical with the help of which they conduct the examination of saliva. They claim that they are successful in 90 P.C. of their cases. Whatever may be the name of the substance which helps them to gain this valuable information, the performance is certainly praise – worthy and useful.

As a result of this experiment, the mother may be happy to learn that she has a male or female child in her womb before its actual arrival on earth. The unborn new comer to the earth was so long able to hide its real identity while in the invisible abode of its mothers womb and create an indefinite and uncertain expectations in the inquisitive parents. But the scientific investigations no longer make it possible, it has now lost its power of exciting pleasant or unpleasant emotions in the family to which it is destined to be a welcome guest.

Correct astrological calculations has often given this kind of information to the expectant mother. The Ayurvedic physicians of old India who gained legendary reputation in the culture of the science of Pulse Reading, could inform the pregnant woman by an examination of her pulse that she was going to deliver a male or female baby at a particular time of a particular month of the year.

Moreover our old women can often say by observing certain physical or mental peculiarities of the pregnant lady which kind of baby she will deliver. According to this source an enormous enlargement of the belly during gestation ensures the birth of a male child. If the belly is not very much enlarged, it gives the hint for birth of a female child. The same source states that a female baby can be expected if the labour pain first commences from the back and becomes intolerable.

If the labour pain starts in the abdomen one can easily think of the arrival of a male child. If the body colour of the expectant mother gets brighter than her pregestation complexion or if her health and general appearance improve during this period she can be expected to give birth to a female baby. These are no scientific calculations but mere guess – works which often come true. These popular calculations are the results of years of observation and experience. We can not dismiss these ideas as foolish.
