      Most violent pains in the enlarged liver after a greenish and bloody diarrhoea, with jaundice and fever. The pain extends from the liver to the shoulder and the hip. The liver reduced to its normal size and the pain removed. Good remedy in varicose veins and acute phlebitis. The veins are swollen, bordered by an area of inflammation, very sensitive to touch, bursting pains and feeling by letting the limb hang down, better by resting the limb on a table or other elevation.

Oscar Hansen
Dr. Oscar Hansen, M.D., from Denmark, was a corresponding member of the British Homeopathic Society and the American Institute of Homeopathy. His book 'Textbook of Materia Medica and Therapeutics of Rare Homeopathic Remedies' was published in 1899.
