Characteristic Symptoms
Uvula and tonsils enlarged and reddened, accumulation of dark purulent mucus in windpipe, mucus removed with difficulty. In the throat feeling as if swelled. Itching on ears, nose, and in urethra. Papular eruption on the face. Erythematous breaking out on upper lip, with yellowish pustules, painful, quickly disappearing in dry scales. Boils upon anterior part of neck and in vicinity of the mouth. Arms covered with an itching rash like nettle-rash.
Therapeutics
Thickening of the tongue remaining after parenchymatous glossitis. Hypertrophy of parotids remaining after parotitis. Hypertrophia tonsillarum chronica. Moistening chronic eczemata. Eczema rubrum with varices on the lower extremities. Barber’s itch. (Good remedy). Large and painful suppurating acne of the face in young people. Lichen planus chron. and simplex.
