Characteristic Symptoms
Restlessness. Over irritability. Full and bursting headache with heat in the eyes. Icy sensation all down the spine. Trembling of the limbs. Stiffness of the neck and jaws. Trismus. Tetanic convulsions with opisthotonus, the muscles relaxing between the paroxysms. Aggravation by the slightest touch, sound, odour, and noise; rubbing relieves the patient. Desire for coitus, but during an emission he becomes impotent. Any touch on the body, it matters not where, excites a voluptuous sensation in women. Itching of the skin of the whole body, especially the nose.
Therapeutics
Tetanus. Trismus. Epilepsia. Athetosis of Hammond. Explosive cough. Spasmodic asthma. Increases the amount of gastric juice and the general acidity.
