Characteristic Symptoms

      Head drawn back, with rigidity of muscles of neck and back. Contractions of eyelids and musculi masseter. Hissing respiration from spasm of laryngeal and bronchial muscles. Alternate tonic and clonic spasms, followed by general relaxation and trembling. Contractions of intestines and ureters. with intense pains, nausea, cold sweat, speedy collapse with asphyxia.

Dr. Oscar Hansen, M.D., from Denmark, was a corresponding member of the British Homeopathic Society and the American Institute of Homeopathy. His book 'Textbook of Materia Medica and Therapeutics of Rare Homeopathic Remedies' was published in 1899.
