One of Schussler’s tissue-remedies. Darting, spasmodic pains along the course of the nerves regularly each night, relieved by warmth and pressure, aggravated by slight touching. Colicky pains ameliorated by bending double (Colocynthis) and by application of warmth; with the pain there is belching of gas without relief. Spasms of the eyelids or facial muscles, hiccough and spasms in teething children, spasmodic retention of urine and dysmenorrhoea. Amelioration from heat. Spasmodic cough, in paroxysms and dry. Whooping-cough, worse at night and by lying down. Rheumatismus articulorum. Paralyses, convulsions, stiffness of the limbs, clenched fingers, thumbs drawn in. Chorea, writer’s piano-or violin- player’s cramps. The patients are exhausted.
