      Jacaranda caroba. Balanorrhoea. Red chancroid or chancroid-like sores about the penis.

Jacaranda gualandai. Dr. J.F. Convers, Bogota, Columbia, South America, says: “Good remedy as mother tincture for pharyngitis acuta, with much dysphagia, no swelling of the tonsils, but fauces hot and red, great pain by swallowing, and many little vesicles in fauces. A good remedy internally and externally, when Aconite, Belladonna, Mercur., and Phytol. have given no results. Three drops every second hour. Also good in catarrhs of uterus with much leucorrhoea after many remedies have failed. Here I give three drops of the mother tincture three times a day, and two vaginal injections 1st dec. dil. in water morning and night. Third dec. dil. is best in catarrhs of the eyes with much secretion.

Dr. Oscar Hansen, M.D., from Denmark, was a corresponding member of the British Homeopathic Society and the American Institute of Homeopathy. His book 'Textbook of Materia Medica and Therapeutics of Rare Homeopathic Remedies' was published in 1899.
