Characteristic Symptoms
Red, vesicles, especially on projecting portions of bone, as the skin over the malar bone. Tension of the skin, a hide-bound feeling. (Croton tigl.). The vesicles are so tense that, on opening, their serous contents fairly burst forth. Sensation as of a splinter under the thumb-nails.
