4. A little girl, aet. 4, had diarrhoea for a weak. Stools greenish-yellow, thin, with mucus, tenesmus after stool, passages more in the morning and forenoon.

Continual thirst, but no appetite. Very fretful, calling for things and refusing them when offered. Fever at night Had taken Acon, Bellad., Chamom. and Pulsat. with on benefit. Aethus 10m, (F), two doses, twenty-four hours apart, cured in two days.- C.R. NORTON.

C. Hering
Hering got the degree of M. D. from the University of Wuezburg with highest honours. The theme of his thesis was "De'Medicina Futura" (The medicine of future). Hering left Germany for West Indies and finally arrived at Philadelphia in Jan, 1833. He established a homeopathic school at Allentown, Pennsylvania, commonly known as "Allentown Academy". Soon he became very popular as a physician. He is known as the 'Father of Homeopathy' in America.
