APIS MELLIFICA

Keynote symptoms of homeopathy medicine Apis Mellifica, described by A. L. Monroe in his book, Method of Memorizing the Materia Medica, published in 1882….

( HONEY BEE )

Associate with Lachesis in diseases low –

Pains are like a bee-sting, they burn and sting, you know;

Inflammations serious in serous membranes rest,

Sequelae scarlatinae, Eruptions, when suppressed,

Meningitis, grinding teeth, as child in torpor lies,

Eyes squint, and head the pillow bores with encephalic cries,

Lids are swollen and turned out, when the eyes inflame,

Light is quite unbearable, and bandages the same,

Inflammations superficial, Erysipelas

Furnishing exception with its ugly purple mass;

In Dropsies without thirst, and skin of waxen hue –

Can’t sleep, with urine scanty, may have high-colored too;

After Rhus, or just before it, no good will Apis do.
