A disagreeable sensation in the periosteum of the limbs, as in the commencement of an ague (aft. 5 h.).

Seems to cause a great susceptibility to catch cold.

In the afternoon a slight shivering all over; on walking in the open air it became black before the eyes, and when standing there occurred a shaking and tossing of the muscles of the limbs, which she could not keep still, for several minutes, without chilly feeling; then when sitting there came on heat in the head and face.

Samuel Hahnemann
Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843) was the founder of Homoeopathy. He is called the Father of Experimental Pharmacology because he was the first physician to prepare medicines in a specialized way; proving them on healthy human beings, to determine how the medicines acted to cure diseases.
