INFORMATION

Maltson reports, in his American Vegetable Practice, that this plant cured a merchant in Boston, subject to great nervous excitement and severe tremor, so that he could not hold a pen to write; he made a tea of the plant and drank about a pint every night. It has been found serviceable in many forms of nervous derangement, abnormal nervous excitability even convulsions.
