Deep seated, aching all over as if in the bones, especially severe in the back, wrists and ankles. There is also severe bruised soreness ( Arnica ) so that the patient is worse on motion ( Bryon. ), although he feels very restless ( Rhus ), even to the muscles of the eyes as expressed in the symptom – ” eyeballs sore on turning them,” watery coryza often present, but may be absent, also nausea, or vomiting and prostration. The choice often lies between this remedy, in the first stage of the disease.
