Aurum in the form of the metal or muriate. It eats more deeply than either of them, involving the bones of the nose. Leading Symptoms – Crusts in the nose; obstructed, ulcerated, agglutinated, painful nostrils, ozaena; thick fetid discharge, severe frontal headache, caries. The patient is melancholy even to suicide. Like the Kali’s it is especially useful in cases that have been abused by Mercury or Kali iod. or both.
