COMMON NAME:

      SULPHURIC ACID.

Symptoms

      In contusion and laceration of soft parts it vies with Calendula (A.).

Perspiration from every motion (Bryonia, Calcarea, China).

Variableness (Ignatia, Kali-S., Pulsatilla).

Stitches in the joints (Berberis, Bryonia, Kali bichromicum, Acid nitricum, Silicea).

Small, weak, pulse (Veratrum).

Tight, dry, cough with slight hacking (Bryonia).

Very effective in curing bronchitis in children with short, teasing cough (Drosera, Ipecac.).

Child smells sour all over, despite the actual cleanliness 9Hepar, Magnesia carb., Rheum) (N.).

Bad effects from mechanical injuries, with bruises, chafing and livid skin (N.).

Follows well after: Arnica, with bruised pain, livid skin, and profuse sweat; and Ledum in ecchymosis.

COMPLEMENTARY: Pulsatilla N.B. Sulphuric Acid, one part, with three parts of alcohol, 10 to 15 drops, three parts of alcohol, 10 to 15 drops, three times daily for three or four weeks, has been successfully used to subdue the craving for liquor (Hr.).

Adolph Lippe
Adolph Lippe (born near Goerlitz, Prussia, 11 May 1812; died in Philadelphia, 23 January 1888) was a homeopathic physician who worked in the United States. Adolph got a legal education at Berlin. After completing his legal studies, Lippe became interested in homeopathy, and emigrated to the United States in 1837 to further his study. In 1838, he enrolled in the North American Academy of Homeopathy at Allentown, Pennsylvania, from where he graduated in 1841. He settled in Philadelphia, where from 1863 until 1868 he was professor of materia medica in the Homeopathic College of Pennsylvania.
