PHOSPHORUS


Wilhelm Karo gives a detail description of the female symptoms of homeopathy remedy Phosphorus, in his book Homeopathy in Women’s Disease, published in 1942….


      It is the drug for tall, thin, weak and nervous young girls and women, having grown up too fast with a disposition to be stoop shouldered. They have usually dark hair.

Key Symptoms.

      Mental and physical prostration, sleepiness. Haemorrhages. Aggravation in the evening, especially before midnight; from change of weather, during a thunderstorm, when lying on the back or on the left side; from singing, laughing and strong smells.

Better in the dark, from rubbing and from eating something cold.

Special Symptoms.

      Too early, too profuse, too long menstruation; menstrual flow generally pale, sometimes very black, viscous, coagulated, membranous. Vicarious menstruation in the shape of bleeding from the nose or stomach.

Acrid, corrosive leucorrhoea, due to chlorosis, especially during a morning walk. Nymphomania. Stitching pains in the genital organs.
