Wilhelm Karo gives a detail description of the female symptoms of homeopathy remedy Helonias Dioica, in his book Homeopathy in Women’s Disease, published in 1942….

      It is the drug for anaemic women, being worn out with hard work; they do not care for sleep, feeling better when actively employed. On the other hand the drug is suitable to women, being enervated by indolence and luxury and those suffering from prolapse of the womb due to atony.

General Symptoms.

      Great irritability, restlessness. Loss of sexual desire with or without sterility.

Special Symptoms.

      Exhausting profuse menstruation with pressing pains and soreness in the ovaries. Profuse haemorrhage during change of life. Profuse serous leucorrhoea with pruritus of the vulva. Dislocation or prolapse of the womb.
