Aconite [Acon]

For children and women, with feverish heat, thirst, palpitations, anguish, restlessness.

Guaiacum [Guai]

Nightmare when lying on back, walking with screams, feels

unrefreshed when waking up, everything seems too tight, feels exhausted, as after great exertion, especially in thighs and arms; great accumulation of wind in abdomen, with pinching from incarcerated, flatulence.

Kali-brom [Kali-br]

Nightmare, full of fearful dreams, exposing the sleeper to horrible dangers, with muscular twitchings, child shrieks out in its sleep and wants to cling to the nurse (Hyosc).

Mezereum [Mez]

Sulphur [Sulph]

Light, unrefreshing sleep, with aching or beating pains in the head, dreams about fire, the arms stretched above the head, the eyes sometimes half open; talks loudly while asleep; jerks and twitches during sleep; awakes with a star or scream.

Terebinthina [Ter]

Nightmare shortly after going to sleep; frequent walking and tossing about at night; great languor and loss of strength; worms, with foul breath, choking sensation in the throat; dry, hacking cough; vertigo.

Samuel Lilienthal
Dr. Samuel Lilienthal (1815-1891) was from Germany, and became a pioneer homeopath in America. He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Munich in 1838. After he moved to the United States, he was hired as Professor of Clinical Medicine at New York College for Women, and also as Professor of Mental and Nervous Diseases at the New York Homeopathic College.
Dr. Samuel Lilienthal was the author of many great books including “Homeopathic Therapeutics”. For many years, with the support of Dr. Constantine Hering, he was the editor of the North American Journal of Homeopathy. Dr. Lilienthal passed away on February 2nd 1891 in San Francisco.
