A tincture is made of the fresh plant of the Parsley, Petroselinum sativum, Hoff. Frequent desire to urinate caused by a crawling stitch behind navicular fossa. Orifice of urethra agglutinated with mucus. Discharge from urethra milky; (Yellow); (albuminous). Drawing and sticking in navicular fossa, that changed urinating to cutting biting; D. in navicular fossa, then itching; D. behind navicular fossa, with pressure. Burning in navicular fossa when urinating. (Crawling rather than burning, extending from perineum through urethra when urinating.) Creeping crawling in isthmus of urethra in morning in bed; in urethra, in region of Cowper’s glands, in morning in bed, then pressure. (>) standing and sitting. Voluptuous tickling in navicular fossa. Priapisms, without curvature of penis. Profuse emission towards morning.
Clinical
Acute inflammation of the urethra and bladder, sudden attacks of urging to urinate, which, if not immediately attended to, will cause severe pain. Gonorrhoea, with strangury constant irresistible desire to urinate. (Notice the marked localization of sensations in the navicular fossa; this is quite characteristic.
