Where it occurs amongst cows is very annoying, and at times a considerable loss. The best remedies are Cantharis, Platina and Phosphorus. Cows that are in high condition are mostly affected with this disorder; where this occurs and the animal is not fattening, she ought to be stinted of food, and a dose of Cantharis given twice a day for several days.
Phosphorus is indicated when the excrement is excessive and continual.
