Skin
The skin of the face, as well as that of the chest, of a violet- red color (after ten minutes), afterwards livid.
Sleep
After inhalation, all the usual phenomena of the deepest sleep supervene almost suddenly, gliding often into the profoundness of sopor, and verging occasionally upon, if not actually lapsing into, coma.
Fever
Chilliness. Much distressed with a sensation of cold. Cold and chilly in the evening. Shivering; chattering of the teeth. Cold extremities. Heat. Skin hot (third day). Agreeable feeling of heat, accompanied by formication and a kind of tremor similar to that felt on touching a large bell in a state of vibration. Sweat. Perspiration, followed by chill.
