Introduction

Arsenious Sulphide (AsS3).Orpiment.

Preparation: Triturations.

Mind.

Intense anxiety and fear.Great apprehension.

Head.

Confusion of the whole head; too many thoughts crowd upon him (eight and a quarter hours).Violent dizziness on walking in the open air, felt through the whole head as from drunkenness (five and a half hours).

Forehead cold.

Needle stitches, externally, in the right frontal region (five hours).

Throbbing stitches in the right frontal region (five hours).

Eyes.

Gum in the canthi (thirty-three hours).

Ears.

On brushing the hair on he occiput, a tensive feeling behind the right ear, as if something stuck behind the ear and pressed it forward (one and a half hours).

Mouth.

The teeth pain as if they were loose, on chewing the food (five hours).Tongue whitish-yellow.

Tongue swollen, after several hours it becomes dry.

Tongue stiff, immovable.

Mouth and throat dry.

Taste bitter.

Stomach.

Stool and Anus.

Tenesmus.Stool thin, liquid, frequent.

Respiratory Apparatus.

Respiration difficult; this lasted several years.

Chest.

Needle stitches from within outward, in the right side of the chest (six hours).

Heart and Pulse.

Pulse frequent, hard; afterward small, thready.Pulse slow, suppressed; afterward rapid, scarcely to be felt.

Lower Extremities.

Pains in left knee (twenty-five minutes).

Generalities.

Twitchings.Twitchings for thirty years after taking it.

General weakness.

Fainting.

Body cold, stiff.

Sleep and Dreams.
