Mind

      Time passes too quickly.

Talkative, inclined to mental exertion; hilarity.

Want of self-confidence; hysteria : Great aversion to work; especially to his usual avocation.

Sensorium

      Vertigo : with nausea, even to vomiting; worse from stooping, from least movement; on closing eyes; on board a vessel; with cold sweat.

Inner Head

      Violent frontal headache, with throbbing, extending to occiput.

Headache, on beginning to move.

Headache which she cannot describe nor even make clear to herself.

Throbbing over left eye and across forehead; sick stomach, worse on rising from lying; worse from persons walking over the floor; from least noise.

Head feels thick, thinks it belongs to another; that she can lift it off. Sunstroke.

Outer Head

      Itching on scalp.

Eyes

      Flickering before eyes in frequent paroxysms, even when closing the eyes; like a veil before eyes; she must lie down; also in hysteria.

Sensitive to light; things look double; fluttering, nausea and cold hands.

Hard, heavy, dull pressure behind eyes.

Ears

      Worse from least noise, every sound penetrates her whole body, especially the teeth, makes vertigo worse.

Rushing in both ears like a water-fall.

Itching behind ears, she would like to scratch them off.

Nose

      Sneezing; watery discharge, worse evening.

Chronic catarrh, discharge, offensive-smelling, thick, yellow, or yellowish-green.

Face

C. Hering
Hering got the degree of M. D. from the University of Wuezburg with highest honours. The theme of his thesis was "De'Medicina Futura" (The medicine of future). Hering left Germany for West Indies and finally arrived at Philadelphia in Jan, 1833. He established a homeopathic school at Allentown, Pennsylvania, commonly known as "Allentown Academy". Soon he became very popular as a physician. He is known as the 'Father of Homeopathy' in America.
