      Drowsiness in forenoon, especially when reading or writing.

Soon after falling asleep, starting as in a fright.

Heavy anxious dreams; constant waking with unpleasant, fantastic dreams.

He may lie down earlier or later, after four of five hours he gets awake with an attack of asthma.

Chill Fever Sweat

      Internal coldness, yawning and stretching.

Chills: with icy-coldness and goose-flesh, 4 to 8 P.M., during catamenia, towards evening without thirst; evening in bed, could not get warm all night; up the back, with chattering of teeth and shaking, without external coldness.

Chilly in bed and shaking chills out of it, thirst increased, pulse accelerated.

Hot feeling on top of head. Sudden flashes toward evening. Increased warmth of body and restlessness.

Violent fever after confinement.

Sweat: without thirst; at night; in face, on scrotum.

Attacks

      Attacks come on suddenly.

C. Hering
Hering got the degree of M. D. from the University of Wuezburg with highest honours. The theme of his thesis was "De'Medicina Futura" (The medicine of future). Hering left Germany for West Indies and finally arrived at Philadelphia in Jan, 1833. He established a homeopathic school at Allentown, Pennsylvania, commonly known as "Allentown Academy". Soon he became very popular as a physician. He is known as the 'Father of Homeopathy' in America.
