Pressure on the stomach, as if it were too full with ineffectual effort to eructate. Sensation of repletion of the stomach though he has not eaten anything. Sensation of emptiness in the gastric region and especially in the oesophagus, not removed by eating with rumbling in the intestines. Throbbing in a small spot on the left side of the stomach. Rumbling in the abdomen as from emptiness.

INDIGESTION

Constant desire to eat which gives ease momentarily, but the hunger is never assuaged and pain and distress may be again relieved by eating. He has to get up at night to eat something. Flatulence form emptiness. Patient hungry, better while eating, but worse afterwards. Relief while eating or from eating but the trouble soon returns. Dyspeptic pains return two hours, after eating.

Soreness of stomach with burning heat. Burning like fire in stomach.

Heartburn after meals of fat food. Milk sours on stomach. Sensation as if something turned over in stomach. Scraped sensation in pit of stomach. Region of stomach sensitive to pressure. Tension in pit of stomach and in back between shoulder blades. Pressure over solar plexus brings on spasms. Tension and fullness in epigastrium. Throbbing in region of stomach.

INDIGESTION

The region of the stomach becomes very painful when press-upon it, even the bed cover causes pain. Burning in the stomach. Spasms in the stomach immediately after a meal. Stitches or pressing pain in the region of the liver. Stitches in the left side of the abdomen when coughing. Rolling and rumbling in the abdomen. Incarcerated flatulence in the left side of the abdomen with constipation.

INDIGESTION

In the afternoon; in the evening; in the night; eructations ameliorate. Eructations after eating butter; Eructations after drinking; after eating; after milk; after rich food; after supper; Empty eructations. (afternoon) Eructations of food. Eructations tasting of food. Eructations foul; rancid; sour. Temporary relief from belching. Rancid, sour, or putrid eructations. Violent, empty, almost constant eructations.

INDIGESTION

Painful swelling and sensitiveness of the pit of the stomach to tight clothing and to contact. Tension in the hypochondria as from a hoop. Accumulation of flatulence, incarcerated flatulence, the flatulence cannot pass and cases much pain. Gnawing, griping sensation in the region of the stomach. Continuous rumbling in the abdomen. Palpitation of the heart during digestion.

INDIGESTION

Cinchona is useful in some disease of the bowels, especially when associated with marked tympany. The abdomen is enormously distended; when you percuss it, it gives forth a sound almost like that caused by shaking the tense head of a drum. It is particularly when this tympany occurs early in the disease that china dose good, then this symptom shows early debility.
