C.P.Bryant In discussing this matter with Mr. L.N. Hampton of the Bell Telephone Laboratories of New York City, I asked how many different vibrations there would be in the human range, and his reply was “Oh, just billions, and billions and billions, and more billions after that.” Further discussion of this matter with Mr. S.S. Knight brought out the explanation of the action of the homoeopathic potency in the treatment of the sick on the basis of physics.
APPLIED CONSTITUTIONAL PATHOLOGY. It is evident that the trend of medicine today is toward the teachings of Samuel Hahnemann, which demonstrates conclusively that all therapy must follow the law of similia. The human body is a unit, and cannot be divided into single parts for therapy. This, also, has been demonstrated by J.E.R. Mac Donagh in the book entitled The Universe Through Medicine.
END RESULTS OF MODERN METHODS OF LIVING AND PREVENTIVE MEDICINE. The autonomous apparatus is linked, as we know, to central nervous system, supreme co-ordinator of all organic activities. It is represented by a center situated at the base of the brain. This center determines the manifestation of emotions. Wounds or tumors in this region bring about certain disorders of the affective function.
IS MATERIA MEDICA BASED ON MODERN PHYSICS. Every medicinal substance, whether it be vegetable or animal, having its own fundamental resonant frequency, is only of value in its application to disease when its frequency is identical to that of the disease for which it is applied. Modern physics demonstrates that a remedy becomes curative when its frequency is 180 degree out of phase to the disease frequency and directly applied.
NITRIC ACID. In the female there is yellow, acrid, offensive leucorrhoea, that follows the menses; and ulcerations of the cervix having a watery, offensive, excoriating discharge. From these erosions and excrescences we may have persistent haemorrhage, or haemorrhage from the uterus.
CALCULI-A NEW CHEMISTRY AND THE INDICATED REMEDY. Many other remedies might be added. There is but one great essential necessary to cure calculi, namely,the careful recording of all symptoms followed by repertorial work and materia medica comparison. Remedies unknown as remedial agents in treatment of calculi may be found to bring about prompt cures.
The fear of death of Argentum nit. is also present in other remedies, notably Aconite and Arsenicum, although here again the differentiation is quite pronounced. Arsenicum does not hurry ; it is weak and exhausted; and its aggravation comes shortly after midnight. Fear of death is connected with this remedy, which is quite different from the fear of death as described in Argentum nit.
Negligence in the regularity, of defecation and of eating, imperfect mastication. sudden changes in the quantity and quality of food, sedentary habits and consequent insufficient exercise, are more or less potent factors in causing intestinal torpidity. It is imperative that some hour most suitable to the individual should be selected and that time rigidly adhered to. It is also as necessary that regularity of meals should be adhered to.
Assuring the patient that he will not die is of much service for the deadly fear added to the pain. There is some reliable testimony that a dose of Arsenicum 30 has shortened the paroxysm. The same is true of Lachesis 30. If with the general prostration the skin becomes suddenly very cold and clammy and cramps of the extremities set in Veratrum album will do much good.
Medical treatment of renal calculi has only mythical value. If the patient has passed a stone, the drinking of large quantities distilled water, careful regulation of the diet and bowels, attention to the exercise, etc., may be helpful in preventing the formation of a future stone, but stones once formed will never be influenced by piperazin or any other drugs, and the consideration of treatment is that along surgical lines alone.
In my obstetric practice I have tried practically all of the methods of analgesia used and find that the use of these various small doses of novocain are not only entirely satisfactory but free from all danger. The only objection I have to the caudal anaesthesia is the fact that it is often difficult to administer, and the short duration of the anaesthesia.
It is now generally accepted that homoeopathic remedies act through the defense mechanism of the body. The action of highly potentized remedies is psychogenetic, while crude drugs are physiological. ALL drugs that have a physiological effect depress the defense mechanism.
The face of Carbolic patient is a dusky red, white about nose and mouth, while Ailanthus is definitely cyanotic. Mercurius cyanatus has some cyanosis. However, its outstanding symptom is great exhaustion. It has gray membrane of the throat, and the necrotic areas of the soft palate; has the dark blood from the nose, which is also present under Ailanthus, but not under Carbolic acid.
This shows that we do not succeed in curing syphilis. If our therapeutic means are impotent to cure syphilis and sterilize the system of treponema, they are incapable of curing all syphilitic lesions which arise in the course of the disease, and they cannot hinder the development of all syphilitic lesions. They have, however, the power of preventing hereditary transmission of syphilis.
Found on washing off part of the dressing that red, glistening appearance, and Lac-can 30 was given in water, a dose every three hours, with immediate benefit. Lac-can, in different potencies, was the only remedy used in this case, except one dose of Ledum for syphilitic rheumatism of the right foot; the pains always shot up from the foot to the knee, never downwards. In two weeks the chancre had completely healed.
In conclusion I wish to read a short poem-the preface to The Grounds of a Homoeopaths Faith, by Samuel A. Jones, M.D., Professor of Materia Medica and Therapeutics in the Homoeopathic Medical College of the University of Michigan, published June 23, 1879-sixty years sag:.
One of my first demonstrations of the possibility of a cure of an anal fistula was in patient who was president of a large wholesale drug company. This came shortly after my conversion to homoeopathy, many years ago. Two prominent surgeons had recommended immediate surgery, the patient consulting me after being told that nothing but surgery would be of value.
Here it resembles Cactus, but is differentiated by the fact that Cactus has a sensation as if the heart itself had been squeezed rather than the chest wall. Lachesis has an intolerance to the clothing or any weight on the chest rather than the band sensation. Its pain does not radiate to the left arm as in Spigelia and Cactus. Lilium tig. also has a sensation as if the heart were grasped.
This condition is often productive of cholelithiasis. Stones in the bladder are causes of great pain only when they are of a size where passage through the cystic duct is possible with distension. Large stones, producing few or no symptoms, are often carried through life.
A Homoeopaths pill is just sweet. There may be other ingredients That are plenty hard to beat. There may be some Aconite, Or there may be some Thuja. Whatever potency it might be Its just bound to cure ya. Now, if you dont believe this, I will not force you to, But take a tip from a veteran, A Homoeopath can cure you!.
Voluminous articles have appeared recently proclaiming the great benefits of the Sulphanilamide group of drugs. Lay journals have heralded to the public that infections now can be completely controlled by this new discovery. The claims made for this new product are that it destroys bacteria, especially of pneumonia, as well as other virulent infectious agents.
That chill is typical of Lachesis, and when dr. Paul Hemas, past seventy years old, came in, he said, “There is one of the guiding symptoms for Lachesis. I might have given you Hepar over the telephone”. That is what made me think of it, that violent chill in which the patient asks to be sat upon and held, and you cant hold them tight enough.
Homoeopathic treatment of diabetes is at present the most effective treatment with a lower mortality rate than other methods. Insulin is of no value except as an emergency measure, supplying a deficiency only. Homoeopathic remedies will do much to stimulate reconstruction of the isles of Langerhans.
This slide is a graphic illustration of the human or vegetables, cells as understood by the physicist. It shows the positive and negative elements as provided by the cytoplasm and nucleus separated by the membranes, which are of lower conductivity.
Many and varied are the conditions that may affect the organs of this portion of the body. A proper differential diagnosis of an existing condition is necessary to ascertain whether the individual condition can be cured by homoeopathic remedies. The differential diagnoses in this region may be most confusing, though in the light of present day diagnostic methods there is much to simplify our conclusion.
