(Supposed by some to be a virulent poison like Cicuta, Conium and other allied plants, by others to be innocent of such properties), has vindicated its usefulness in indigestion, especially of children, characterized by vomiting curdled milk, and in diarrhoea, thin, yellow, or green and slimy, preceded by cramps, and often followed by tenesmus. Some desperate cases of gastro-intestinal catarrh have been cured.
