-Whilst nursing, women are apt to suffer in various ways. They feel weak, lose appetite, perspire profusely, lose their hair, and are sensitive to chills. General Treatment.-The child must have regular times for nursing. Food must be given frequently to the mother first thing in the morning as soon as she wakes and in the night if sleepless. Food must be of good quality, oatmeal gruel or well-cooked Embden groats, with milk, good soups, chicken, mutton, and milk- puddings.
