COUGH.
DRY COUGH –
Tickling, spasmodic cough, with constriction of chest and throat.
Nervous cough.
Spasmodic cough in paroxysms, at night; no sputa; cannot lie down; paroxysm ends in a whoop.
Spasmodic cough in paroxysms, about once an hour or so, by day; face gets turgid and blue (whooping cough).
Chronic nervous cough.
SPUTA –
None.
WORSE –
At night, lying down.
By day, at intervals of an hour or so.
SPECIAL –
Chronic nervous cough; spasmodic; dry cough.
Laryngismus stridulus.
Spasmodic nervous asthma.
